Encouraging wildlife into the garden gives landholders a lot of pleasure and sometimes they are even inspiration for a project. Recently while visiting a property near Ballarat I saw the magpie which stimulated the story Meg, Mog and Miss Molly by Yvonne Horsfield.
The proceeds from the sale of the books are donated to “Help for Wildlife”.
Help for Wildlife has been operating as a 24 hour State-wide Wildlife Emergency Service for 17 years. They are an incorporated, non-profit organisation which is not Government funded and does not have paid staff. All works carried out by Help for Wildlife are undertaken by dedicated and focused volunteers.
